my piano teacher asked me this question. "besides giving ang-baos when invited to weddings... is there other alternative gifts to give?" i thought hard but mm... i also duno lehz. almost everybody gives ang-baos... right? her friend gona get married but she aint gona attend the dinner. how can she miss out the good food?? *haha*
she then talk about the time she got married... she dint even have wedding dinner. she's from China and married in Singapore with a China husband. both of their parents weren't around when they got married. just went to MOM at about 3+... signed the cert and that's it. they got their best friends as eye-witnesses. i was like... huh? they got married just like that. *haha* funny hor. then went for dinner with friends... took photos... that's it. the whole wedding done in about 8 hours. dint even wear wedding dress. sad lehz... how can have wedding without dress and dinner?
but come to it of it... wedding very expensive de. it takes months before to decide everything. invitations, venues, food, hotels... blah blah blah. in a way... my teacher's wedding is toOo simple le lah. but they not shotgun marriage also lah. she just gave birth... duno boy or girl... never ask. *lol*
next time my wedding cannot like hers lah... must grand de. *lol* provided my husband is super damn rich! *haha* but must at least have a wedding dress and dinner. =)

lunch at dear dear's housesaw the rainbow through the fish tankwearing dear dear's army cap went for movie - Time at Cathay Cine. its a Korean M18 show. here goes... Seh-hee and Ji-woo (Ha Jung Woo - The Unforgiven) have been together for years, but their relationship is slowly dying down, their love changing into a mere mildly pleasing familiarity. To solve her problems, Seh-hee makes a drastic decision: change her facial appearances completely through plastic surgery and start a new life. Weeks later, Ji-woo meets a strange waitress at a cafe. Happy 28th month Anniversary
Glenn and Lynette!! :D another 1 month passed le... so fast hor. today finally finished my exams le... free from school! *yeah* shall work hard till results are out.
after exam meet dear dear at Tamp and take-away dinner... ate at his house. watched tv shows... like that only *lol* like very sian hor... actually today he supposed to go back camp de but take MC. so got 1 extra day for us i very happy le... some more today anni lehz. about 9+ i left le... sent me to bus-stop and ta-da... here i am blogging away.

just came back from a movie - Step Up. watched it with dear dear at PS. very nice show lehz... with abit of comedy too. however there's no chinese subtitles... and u noe la... black people talk very fast so very difficult to catch what they say. no worries... only a handful of them =) just focus on their dancing can le. its a must watch for dance lovers!! dear dear bought this pair of Nike sneakers from LeftFoot at Cathay Cine last night. $139... nice hor *hehe* i like it too.

The Ship
went to dear dear's house after he booked out as usual. left about 2+ for Far East...had KFC's Fish 'n' Chips. no nice de!! the fish so small sia... at the 1st bite... i thought it was chicken. *lol* then went to Taka and bought christmas cards =) *so keai*
headed to The Ship Restaurant for dinner... located at Shaw Centre 4th floor at a corner. his mum working there as waitress. OOo... i 1st time go there lehz... ambience very nice. so romantic loh... got candle de *hehe* food tasted yummy too but too bad we dint finish coz very very full le. dear dear had Beef Steak with Chicken Wings and i had Fish Bee Hoon Soup... very odd hor *lol* his mum jie shao de but very nice lehz. so different from Plaza Sing de :D duno how much total cost coz his mum paid everything le but should be less than $50 ba. *aiyo*
i like the table setting... especially the table mats *so pretty*

after dinner walked along Orchard... so pretty with all the lights. Christmas is coming!! *yeah* took a picture of dear dear with a mini xmas tree behind =P

yest (sun) was dear dear book-in day. *sobz* so fast 2 days passed and he have to go in again. we planned to have lunch then stay his house rest before he go BUT... *hehe* he got a surprise for me!
i supposed to wake much earlier de but hor... *haha* dear dear called at 12+ then i wake. and mei xiang dao... he woke at 10+ *lol* so early. he said," today change of plans... gona give me a surprise ". oOo... so happy wor!
met him at Tamp library bus-stop there and he said," let's go dye my hair! " i was like wat?? dye my hair? why? *haha* wana noe why? coz on sat... he kept saying my hair need a new lighter colour... blah blah blah. since he dun wana spend his $ on IT products or whatever... he decided to give me a new hair colour and had already booked appointment with his stylist at Storm. *hehe* dear dear very good to me hor... he's the best!!
ta-da! my new hair colour. its 2 tone... i think is light brown base and red highlights. you must look more closely then can see the colour. its pretty! :D dear dear also bought Nintendo DS Lite - white colour de. its with me! *yeah* now when bored got games to play le. it cost $269 plus a game.

went to VivoCity for movie - Covenant. hmm... its quite chim coz the explanation not clear or maybe i just dun understand lah! *hehe* alot of fighting... reminds me of the arcade game... shucks! i dun rem wat it is le. got those "ar u gen!" de loh. its not scary... dun worry =)
ate lunch at Carl's Junior. dear dear got $5 discount voucher... i dint finish coz quite full le. somemore the burger is big loh... not like tiny Mac de. surprisingly... i dint buy anything *lol* he bought a jacket though... $32 only from I.P zone. had Ben 'n' Jerry ice-cream *yummy* went onboard a ship... having a book fair but dint buy anything. well... guess nothing caught my eyes today.

Wed went out with Qionghua and Winnie. first to Chinatown to buy my belt. we then took bus to Bugis and walked to Sim Lim Square coz Winnie going for an interview there. walked back to Bugis again coz Winnie buying bag and so qiao we all carrying white handbags *hehe* bought a watch... $5 onli *lol* wanted it long ago le coz its pink! *haha* and mainly coz i need a cheap watch. if not everytime go out wear expensive watch... kana knock or something... heart pain. also bought a tee... 2 for $20... shared with Winnie. =)
Charlene bought the bag from Bangkok. *so sweet of her*while waiting for bus to Suntec... took pictures :D

had dinner there. decided to go Esplanade coz its still early... but without dear dear... i duno the route. in the end we gave up and went Marina Square's foodcourt to rest our legs. very tiring u noe...walked so much... in heels somemore =( chit-chatted about 45 mins then we took cab home. i suggested it de coz i really cant tahan le and moreover is i pay ma. *lol*
in Marina Square's toiletthe next day - thursday (which was yest) i fell sick. fever and cough *poor me* today fever no more but my voice hor... aiyoyo... terrible!
